FIFA系列应该是我玩过最长时间游戏了,从小学时候在报纸上看到的一条新闻,说能在电脑上踢足球,那时候感觉简直就是不可思议,因为文章里没有说是哪款游戏,我还专门叫父亲打电话去报社问,结果人家也不知道.后来看到杂志里介绍FIFA和实况,才真正开始玩.记得当初的FIFA罚任意球或角球的时候,箭头都是弯的,只要按射门就能踢出非常有弧线的球,甚至有一个角度是必进无疑的.后来上了初中和高中,也没有什么时间玩了,只有每年暑假的时候在ps2上过一下瘾.后来拥有了ps3之后,开始玩实况,玩了08和09,一度认为FIFA已经没落了,一次偶然的机会在best buy里试玩了FIFA 10,突然找回了小时候的感觉,然后就开始一发不可收拾的重新爱上了FIFA.期待今年秋天的FIFA 12!

还有4天就是Apple WWDC 2011了,感觉上一次发布iPhone 4就好像昨天一样.根据会前的消息,今年的WWDC会介绍Mac OS X Lion (10.7), iOS 5和iCloud! 这次虽然没有新的硬件产品,但是iOS 5和iCloud还是让我相当兴奋.据说iOS 5会改进推送通知系统和加入语音识别,而iCloud则允许用户上传音乐到Apple的服务器上,然后在其他的iOS设备上收听.Lion也会是另一个重头戏,在这些全新的功能中,我最喜欢的就是Launchpad和Mail 5了.一起期待6月6号的到来吧!

之前我一直推崇mediatemple,主要的原因是他们有很多大公司的客户,只是他们的(dv)的价格真是vps中的劳斯莱斯,实在无法接受,只好参加了大猫的合租(顺便说一句,大猫的合租一直都很稳定,推荐!).用了linode一个星期下来,我对他们的看法大大改观,最让我惊讶和感动的就是他们support的速度,我开了5个ticket,每个都在5分钟内就收到回复,其中有两个还是凌晨1点多开的.这点很值得称赞.linode library的文章非常全面,也浅显易懂,非常适合我这样的新手.

等了这么多年的GT5终于入手了,9月的时候在amazon上看到可以预定,就毫不犹豫的订了Collector Edition.可是看到附赠的车模和钥匙扣的质量,还是有点小失望的.收藏版里附赠的5部Chrome Line车倒是非常有用的,初期就靠SLS来赚钱了.本人水平不高,也没有方向盘,驾照基本都是铜牌.等待圣诞节的来临,到时可以好好的玩上几天几夜!

Apple最近推出了iTunes 9.1,这个版本带来了一个非常棒的功能,能在不删除任何东西的情况下,给iPhone瘦身,从而节约其存储空间.

这个方法非常简单,只需要将iPhone与装有iTunes 9.1的电脑连接,然后在同步的总览页有一个选项”Convert higher bit rate songs to 128kbps AAC”,选择了这个选项之后,重新将iPhone同步,原来所有非128kbps AAC的歌曲都会先从iPhone当中删除,iTunes执行转换程序.我刚才测试了一下,我的曲库里有大约220首歌,基本都属于高比特率的文件,iTunes首次转换花了将近10分钟.在转换完成后,这些歌将会重新同步回iPhone.如果一直打开这个选项,以后所有同步到iPhone的歌曲都会自动被转换成128kbps AAC.要注意的是,这个转换只改变iPhone内的音乐文件,对原本电脑里曲库的文件没有任何影响.

这样做带来的好处有:

• 节省iPhone存储空间
• iTunes的同步速度大大加快

音质方面,由于我的耳朵区分高低音质的能力不太强,所以个人认为,经过转换后的音乐音质并没有显著的下降.不过我相信,如果对音质痴迷的人,应该也不会拿着iPhone来听吧?

Two-Hour Series Finale Airs Monday, May 24, on FOX

In a joint decision made by 24’s star and executive producer Kiefer Sutherland, executive producer and showrunner Howard Gordon, Twentieth Century Fox Television, Imagine Entertainment and Fox Broadcasting Company, it was determined that the acclaimed series will end its remarkable eight-season run. Jack Bauer’s last day on FOX will conclude when the final two hours of “Day Eight” air Monday, May 24 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). As the countdown to the series’ climactic conclusion races on, the final 11 hours will air uninterrupted Mondays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Multiple award-winning series star Kiefer Sutherland reflected on the show’s run: “This has been the role of a lifetime, and I will never be able to fully express my appreciation to everyone who made it possible. While the end of the series is bittersweet, we always wanted 24 to finish on a high note, so the decision to make the eighth season our last was one we all agreed upon. This feels like the culmination of all our efforts from the writers to the actors to our fantastic crew and everyone at Fox. Looking ahead to the future, Howard Gordon and I are excited about the opportunity to create the feature film version of 24. But when all is said and done, it is the loyal worldwide fan base that made it possible for me to have the experience of playing the role of Jack Bauer, and for that I am eternally grateful.”

Executive producer and showrunner Howard Gordon said, “Kiefer and I have loved every minute of making 24, but we all believe that now is the right time to call it a day. Now in its eighth season with Kiefer Sutherland starring as the heroic Jack Bauer, the inventive and suspenseful 24 has been nominated for a total of 68 Emmy Awards, winning for Outstanding Drama Series in 2006. Over the course of seven seasons, Sutherland garnered seven Emmy nominations and one win for Outstanding Lead Actor – Drama Series. While the series gained global recognition, Sutherland’s portrayal of the legendary character penetrated the American psyche like no other dramatic television character to become part of the English lexicon.

Premiering November 6, 2001, 24 employed a pioneering split-screen, fast-paced format with complex interweaving storylines as viewers followed anti-terrorism agent Jack Bauer through 24 pulse-pounding episodes, each covering one hour and presented in real time. Subsequent seasons combined the show’s unique and trend-setting format while delivering compelling new elements and attracting talented actors and guest stars, including the Emmy Award-winning Cherry Jones (President Allison Taylor). The series also currently stars Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe O’Brian), Anil Kapoor (Omar Hassan), Annie Wersching (Renee Walker), Katee Sackhoff (Dana Walsh), Mykelti Williamson (Brian Hastings), Freddie Prinze Jr. (Cole Ortiz), Chris Diamantopoulos (Rob Weiss) and John Boyd (Arlo Glass).

The first six seasons were set in Los Angeles, and following the strike-induced delay of Season Seven, “24: Redemption,” a two-hour film bridging Seasons Six and Seven, was set in Africa. Washington, D.C. was the setting for Season Seven, and the final season of 24 finds Jack Bauer thwarting a terrorist attack in New York.

At the conclusion of Season Eight, 24 will have a produced a total of 194 episodes (including “24: Redemption”), making it one of the longest-running action television shows in history.

Tune in Monday, March 29 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) for the next all-new installment of 24 and Monday, April 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) for a special two-hour episode.

很早之前就想用Apple的产品,记得07年上Visual Arts课的时候第一次用学校lab里面的iMac,连怎么打开程序都不明白.好不容易找到了dock,打开了finder,打开自己想用的程序.做完了东西之后,因为不知道Mac OS直接点红叉不是结束程序,结果关机时发现dock里面一排程序下面都是小白点,左顾右盼发现旁边的同学都没有这种情况,于是不耻下问,人家告诉我,你要右击然后点Quit才行…估计当时那人心里在想:连Mac都不会用还来学什么Visual Arts?

后来入了Macbook和iPhone,不知不觉已经成了一个十足的水果饭了.Apple每次的Event, Keynote Speech和WWDC都是全程关注,完了还要再看一遍HD的录像.今年的WWDC尤其兴奋.Apple无疑是这个星球上最会明目张胆抢钱的公司了,就拿这次iPhone 3GS和OS 3.0来说吧,3GS换了个能录像的Camera,快了些的CPU,就能让许多人如此兴奋,以致于他们甚至愿意付多200美金来换Early Upgrade, 或者是多付400加币的Early Contract Termination Penalty,为的都是能早些拿到一些4,5年前的产品已经可以实现的功能.今天Apple更新OS 3.0,在Mac rumors论坛上从16号晚便有人通宵守候,还有人搜遍全球的Apple网站想找到具体的升级时间,这都是为了区区一个软件升级…而这次软件的升级,唯一让我刚兴趣的几个只有:拷贝粘帖,彩信,Spotlight搜索,以及Turn-by-Turn的导航.我相信这些更新在第一代的iPhone都可以实现,但是Apple就是有这样的魔力和谋略,让人疯狂着迷,最后的结果便是毫不犹豫的掏钱向Jobs进贡…

>界面的可定制性

firefox: 之前一直在用FF的時候就很欣賞FF的強大的界面的可定制性,可以直接把任何東西拖放到任何地方.很喜歡.

safari: 和FF有的一拼!但是我追求最大的可視化面積,只有FF能把所有東西放到一欄里面.

IE8: 沒有FF和safari那么方便的定制性,但是加上了favorites toolbar,也算是一個進步.

>速度

safari: 太快了,真的太快了~無論是啟動還是瀏覽網頁,都很快.

FF: 啟動的時候有點慢,瀏覽的速度一直是強項,但是和safari比還是稍有遜色.不過也滿意了. (在FF 3.0b5中如果將bookmarks按名稱排序會假死,不知道是怎么一回事)

IE8: 微軟自家的東西啟動很快,據說是事先在內存中先運行了一部分東西.瀏覽速度…唉不說了.

因為一直在使用k2的關系,所以一直沒有去關心其他任何的wordpress主題.前幾天google的時候發現了Brian Gardner的 Revolution Theme,第一眼看見的就是$79.99的價錢,當時心里想說免費的wordpress theme都一大把了,這個theme賣錢,而且還這么貴,豈不是自找死路嗎?看了一下介紹,這個theme一共分為7種,針對不同網站的需求:有Revolution Theme/Revolution News/Revolution Sports/Revolution Magazine/Revolution Tech/Revolution Pro Business/Revolution Pro Media.每一個的單價是79.99美金,5合一的套餐是399.95美金.

先說些題外話,這些天一直在找一個合適的CMS程序來做我一直想做的一個有關24的網站,到處了解了一下,發現除了自己了解的(曾經小碰過一下的)drupal和movable type,就是國內一大堆的CMS程序了.發現國產的CMS給我的感覺就是亂加雜,廣告滿天飛,鏈接全失效,是我非常不喜歡的那種網站.沒辦法,只能在國外的兩個里面選了.在drupal和mt當中我個人比較傾向于mt,但是由于我的空間用不了mt,所以只剩drupal可以選了.把drupal裝上,途中發現安裝程序有很大改善,比原來簡單清爽了許多;但是進入后臺之后,發現還是很不順手.因為很長一段時間沒有接觸過drupal,而且之前也只是略通皮毛的用了一下,如果要用來建站的話還有很多東西要學.考慮之后還是決定用回wordpress,畢竟接觸的久了更加順手.

正當我在想如何把wordpress變成一個CMS的時候,突然想來了Revolution theme,想試試看感覺如何.很可恥的,我沒有購買,而是去找了下載…想說先試試看效果,如果好的話再買.google了一下發現下載的地方還真多,可憐的Brian啊,順便鄙視一下我自己…因為想做有關24的網站,所以就下載了Revolution Pro Media.這個theme還自帶幾個plugins,傳上來一看,驚喜異常!這就是我要的效果嘛~首頁有自動更新特定欄目的部分,自定視頻的位置,內嵌了Google Adsense的位置,header的page menu還做成了下拉式的,可定制的空間也非常廣…逛了一下Revolution theme的support,采用的是論壇的方式,隨便搜索了一下基本我能想到的問題都已經有了解答.再次表揚!

無疑,Revolution Theme是迄今為止我見過的最適合的用wordpress建CMS的主題了.美觀+強大的功能+靈活,完全可以滿足像我這樣,想建站但卻對php,css只了解點皮毛的菜鳥.一個theme就可以把wordpress變成一個專業的CMS,這就是Revolution的魔力!

經過了六個月的等待,中間的跳票和2.4的夭折之后,Wordpress 2.5正式版終于發布了.這一次連Wordpress.org的風格都改成了2.5新的后臺的風格,估計2.5將會是另外一個重要的里程碑式的版本.我也從之前的RC一直更新上來到正式版.一些用戶的新特色有:

我本人也遇到了.經過一番google,發現了兩種解決的方法:

1. 直接升級到最新的K2 RC5版本,可以在這里下載到.
2. 將K2文件夾下的apps/includes/widgets-removal.php的內容替換成以下的代碼,或者可以使用我已經做好的文件直接代替,在這里可以下載到.

發生沖突的原因是由于新的WP 2.5的后臺的dashboard頁面使用到了widgets功能,而K2使用自帶的sidebar module會屏蔽掉widgets.所以導致了錯誤的發生.以上的代碼將widgets在除了dashboard以外的地方全部屏蔽.這樣K2就可以和WP 2.5共存了.

當你安裝好一個全新的wordpress準備開始寫第一篇blog的時候,稍等一下!為什么不用一點時間做一些”安裝后的設置”確保所有東西都設置正確,為以后打好基礎呢?在開始介紹前,我要聲明的是:本文僅適用于在你自己空間上安裝的wordpress.當然,如果你用其他的blog程序,也可以參考本文,只是有可能你需要自己尋找有關的設置.

大部分設置都是在blog的管理面板,所以需要你用管理員帳號登錄.

1. 改變靜態鏈接的結構 – WP默認的靜態鏈接是http://www.yourdomain.com/?p=21這樣的;但是這種靜態鏈接對于搜索引擎來說過于簡單了.如果一個http://www.yourdomain.com/the_next_great_article這樣的靜態鏈接會更吸引搜索引擎.如果需要改變這項設置,打開管理面板下的options-permalink,選擇custon field然后鍵入/%postname%即可.
2. 換掉默認的主題 – 這也是為了告訴你的讀者你是一個認真持久的blogger.網上有許多免費的主題可以使用,你可以在http://themes.wordpress.net/搜索.找到心儀的主題后,將其上傳到wp-content/themes目錄下,然后打開管理面板的Presentation/Design激活新的主題即可.
3. 更新Ping服務 – 當你更新blog之后,XMLRPC服務會幫你宣傳以便讓更多人知道你的blog.所以當然越多人來知道越好.這里http://codex.wordpress.org/Update_Services有一個Ping服務的列表.在管理面板下點擊options-writing,將列表粘帖到下面update services欄內即可.記得要點save哦!
4. 激活akismet插件 – 這個插件是默認與wordpress一同安裝的.所以你只需要去管理面板下的plug-ins然后激活它就可以了.這個插件需要一個wordpress的API號碼,它會提示你如何注冊一個.這個插件會幫你阻擋許多垃圾評論.
5. 用feedburner燒錄你的feed – 讓http://www.feedburner.com幫忙burn你的feed.當你的讀者訂閱你的RSS時候就會自動更新.同時feedburner還會幫你做統計.要記得修改主題上的feed鏈接到feedburner.
